By purchasing Engineering Village Day Pass, you get to perform an unlimited number of searches against the Compendex database on Engineering Village for a 24 hour period. During this time you can:

• Perform an unlimited number of searches and refinements
• View as many records as you like
• Download up to 1,000 records for your personal use
• Follow links to full-text documents available through other services
• Exit and re-enter Engineering Village as often as you like

You can also search from your office computer while you’re at work, and then your home computer once you go home. The only limitation is that you can only use your Day Pass from one computer at a time—which shouldn’t be a problem provided you are not in two places at once.

Do I get full text articles?

Engineering Village will link you to full-text documents, but your subscription does not entitle you to view full-text documents within other websites. Entitlement to full-text content on publisher web-sites is an arrangement made between you and that publisher. Many publishers charge a fee to download their full-text.

However, if you prefer, you can use the "Document Delivery" link on Engineering Village to order any abstract you find via the Linda Hall Library. The Linda Hall Library accepts credit card payment for the documents they deliver. Document delivery may take several days to be fulfilled.

Are there additional fees for each record I view?

No. Unlike other services, we do not charge you for the number of records you view. Please feel free to view as many as you like.

What if I'm not satisfied?

Engineering Village is the leading discovery platform for engineering research. If you find that Engineering Village is not the right product for you, please contact us within 24 hours and let us know why you are not satisfied with your purchase and we will refund your purchase price in its entirety.

How do you calculate 1 day's access?

Access to Engineering Village is calculated beginning the minute your purchase transaction is approved. You will have access to use, exit and re-enter Engineering Village as many times as you wish within the 24 hour period which follows. Once 24 hours have expired, you will be denied access to Engineering Village and be given the option to purchase an additional Day Pass. No matter where you are in the world, or how long you actually use Engineering Village, your access will expire 24 hours after you purchase it.

What happens if I log out or navigate away from Engineering Village?

Even if you navigate away from Engineering Village or log-off, you are permitted to re-enter the site at will during your access period. You can re-enter either by clicking the link embedded in your confirmation email or by logging into your account again via your username and password.

What if I want to use Engineering Village for more than 1 day?
